# FAQ

<details>

<summary>What is Robinhood Protocol in one line?</summary>

A two-phase token on Robinhood Chain that moves value from the largest holders to the smallest, automatically, as it trades.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Where can I trade during the launch?</summary>

Only on the official website. During Phase 1 the token cannot be traded anywhere else — there are no pools and transfers are restricted to the Vault.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens if I try to buy a large amount in Phase 1?</summary>

Each purchase has a size limit. If you send more than a single purchase allows, the contract buys up to the limit and **refunds the rest to your wallet** in the same transaction. You never lose the excess.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why are the Phase 1 rules not published?</summary>

The full mechanics are sealed until the token graduates to Phase 2. Keeping them private during the launch prevents anyone from gaming or abusing the curve. Everything is disclosed once Phase 1 ends.

</details>

<details>

<summary>When can I trade on exchanges and bots?</summary>

After the token graduates to Phase 2. From then on it trades on the open market through any router or bot on Robinhood Chain.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Who receives the redistribution, and where does it come from?</summary>

The smaller half of holders (holding at least a small minimum value) receive it. It comes entirely from fees paid by the largest sellers — nothing is minted for it.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How often can I claim?</summary>

As often as you want. Each claim pays only what accrued since your last one; nothing is ever paid twice.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is the "approve" signature safe?</summary>

Yes. It is an off-chain, gas-free signature that only authorizes your own trades on the website. It moves no funds and cannot be used to spend your wallet.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is this audited?</summary>

Treat it as experimental until a completed security audit is published. Nothing here is financial advice.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://rptotocol.gitbook.io/robinhood-protocol/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
